Underwater Defence & Security 2018 - 20/03/2018

Underwater Defence & Security, chaired by Rear Admiral Robert Tarrant CB, Former Commander Operations, Royal Navy, returns for its sixth year to Portsmouth, welcoming an international audience of submariners, MCM and ASW operators, Ship Captains, pilots, R&D organisations, procurements teams, academia and industry to discuss the key issues affecting this community.

The meeting begins with concurrent focus days looking at Submarines, MCM, and ASW, providing an impact assessment of global instability on current operations and what Nations need to develop to counter evolving threats.

The main 2-day agenda begins with the opening keynote address from Vice Admiral Clive Charles Carruthers Johnstone CB CBE RN, Commander, NATO Allied Maritime Command, sharing the current threats shaping NATO focus within the underwater arena.

Senior leaders from the Naval community, including UK, USA, Germany, Sweden, Belgium, Netherlands, Canada, Germany, Italy, Poland, and Australia have all confirmed their attendance. Free entry for serving military/government personnel
