Hundreds of companies prepare to launch new products at Space Tech Expo Europe

The countdown has begun: there is five days to go until Space Tech Expo Europe opens at the Messe Bremen, Bremen, Germany and the event is ready to launch with a packed schedule of product showcases, networking opportunities and forum sessions.

Taking place on 24-26 October, the free-to-attend Space Tech Expo Europe is hosting more than 300 exhibitors from across the entire space supply chain, all of whom will be sharing new products and ideas with thousands of attendees. The event is Europe’s meeting point for space business and takes place in the city of Bremen, Germany – a centre of aerospace innovation and a European space industry hub. Exhibitors and speakers from the industry’s most renowned companies will be present.

Across the three-day event, attendees will discover the latest innovations and technologies from within the space and defence industry at the Space Tech Expo Europe Product Showcase – a series of live product demonstrations that highlight cutting-edge developments in space manufacturing and applications.

On day one, companies including Enpulsion and ACM Coatings, Acktar’s German subsidiary, will display their latest offerings, from showcasing an IFM Nano Thruster, a modular electric propulsion system for satellites to new coatings designed for systems and applications where the highest optical performance is needed to meet critical requirements. ArianeGroup will present the Ariane 6, a launch vehicle that will provide unprecedented flexibility to customers by placing any type of payload in low orbit, and Knürr will showcase its new Knürr Ergocon control room console, which features a fully electrical, height-adjustable worktop and monitor level, as well as innovative electrical depth adjustment of the monitor level.

The action continues into days two and three, when PTScientists will give an interactive introduction to the technical features and capabilities of the Audi lunar quattro Moon rover – which will be taken for a quick spin – and the ALINA spacecraft. Meanwhile, TT Electronics will unveil its new Multi-Chip Array designs, which offer a new and improved way to build circuits, and 3D Plus is set to demonstrate its CMOS 4Mpixel space-qualified camera, which is available off the shelf and suitable for several applications.

In addition to the product launches and demonstrations taking place, Space Tech Expo Europe is hosting the Industry and Technology Forums, where panel speakers will tackle the most pressing industry issues and latest developments. NASA, the Canadian Space Agency and Bayern-Chemie are on the long list of organisations billed to speak, and topics being covered include how SMEs can do business with industry majors such as ESA, Airbus, OHB and others.

On the show floor, a complimentary B2B Matchmaking service will be available, which connects attendees with businesses on a one-to-one basis. A free Networking Drinks Reception offers another opportunity to connect with industry peers from all segments of the supply chain and open exciting conversations.

With almost 4,000 industry leaders, decision makers, engineers, specifiers and buyers registered to attend, Space Tech Expo Europe is the region’s largest dedicated space technology trade fair and conference. Register online to be part of it.
