US/Canada Border Conference 2017

12th - 13st September, 2017

Now in its 5th year, the US/Canada Border Conference is the only major conference fully addressing the “Beyond the Border” Declaration between the U.S. and Canada, aimed at improving economic competitiveness while advancing border security between the two countries. This two-day event is strategically located in Detroit, Michigan, near several of the busiest shared ports between the United States and Canada, September 12 – 13, 2017 at the Cobo Center.

Keynote speakers and panelists will discuss and emphasize the importance of:

  • Taking a holistic approach when addressing border functions and security
  • Regarding the border as more than a line dividing two nations’ boundaries
  • Approaching border control with technology, strategies and communication that takes place not just at ports of entry but throughout the respective countries’ interiors.
